Improvised to interact physically with the dominant architecture of the gallery and psychologically with my wall piece and working to the constraints that no mess could be made on the floor, I worked primarily by reversing the dominance of the colours in the wall piece. Having blindfolded myself, I descended the stairs to interact with the viewers and then bandaged myself to the stairs, remaining in situ as long as I was able without extreme discomfort. At this point, I released myself and left the area.
