Re-Searching Journey

Building on the rituals that have evolved in my past performances, having protected myself with bandages and Vaseline, I used sheets as garments, pouring plaster onto them to build-up bulk and weight until I was clad in 12 layers.

I had anticipated physical discomfort but not that I would be emotionally drained which, to my surprise, led to my asking the spectators to leave at the end and not to clap – when they began to. This was a complete break from my normal practice.
