Conceived for the first Ip-art (Ipswich Arts Festival), I was obliged to commit myself to a title and duration (five hours) before devising the work. I knew that I wished to address the issue that I had attempted to comment on in Imperialist Crusade, using my own personal performance vocabulary. The work was improvised around set objects and pre-conceived tasks. Christian symbolism was used whilst my own appearance and actions were anything but Christian.
