STUDY FOR DON'T ASK ME
(Installation)
Whistler Gallery, Dance East, Ipswich

- 31 ‘identical’ panels in a straight row.
- Each panel with a photograph at the bottom, of the view opposite the photograph – as though it were a mirror, with the back view of a male head. This is at eye level.
- At the top of the panel is a small, circular, hand-bag mirror far too high to see into.
- A length of red and a length of white cotton are draped around the mirror and hang almost to the floor. With time these begin to drift to the adjacent panel and become entangled.
- Each one of the bottom photographs has a large black letter of the alphabet on it as follows: -
